We love the Volvo brand, and each year introduces new improvements that make each model better than the year before. If you're new to leasing, we're here to help you prepare for the return process so that your experience will be as fast and seamless as possible when the time comes. Let's get started.

90 Days

About three months before your lease ends is when you should start thinking about your lease-end options. Depending on what works best for you, you can purchase your lease, return your lease and start a new one or return your lease and look elsewhere for your next new or used vehicle.

Buying Your Lease

Many times, our customers love their lease so much that they want to keep driving it. If you feel the same, then you'll have the opportunity to buy your vehicle at the end of your lease and continue driving it without the restrictions that come with leasing. Be sure to review your lease agreement or contact us to find out how much you'll be expected to pay.

Starting a New Lease

If you've enjoyed your lease experience, but want to explore different Volvo models and have access to the latest features and upgrades, starting a new lease is a great option. You may be able to find a special lease offer on the new vehicle, making your new lease even more affordable. Be sure to check out our latest offers to see what we currently have on sale.

Returning Your Lease

If you're not sure what you want to do next, or if you want to explore other automotive brands, simply return the lease and pay any remaining fees. We make it easy!

60 Days

When you're about two months out, your Volvo must undergo an inspection. This is to check for any excessive damage beyond normal wear and tear. We'll schedule a time that works best for you and at a location that is most convenient for you, whether that's your office, home or somewhere else. After the inspection, we will inform you of any repairs, if applicable, that need to be made. You will have to schedule these before the lease ends and keep a record of these repairs.

30 Days

When you're down to the last month, you'll have to schedule a time with us to turn in the lease. We'll help you answer any questions you may have and help you prepare for the final steps. Even if you didn't start your lease with us, you can still return it at our dealership. Don't forget to return all keys, fobs, manuals, etc. and remove all of your personal items from the vehicle.

Final Steps

To wrap up the lease process, call Volvo Car Financial Services at 1-866-499-6793 to confirm the final mileage on your vehicle. When you arrive at our dealership to turn in your lease, don't forget to show us copies of your repair receipts (if applicable) with your VIN and account number included on each receipt copy. If you haven't met all of your payment requirements at the end of your lease, you must complete them even after you've turned the vehicle in. You may also receive an invoice for any fees (if applicable) for excess wear and tear.
